What it takes to Change levels.

Meta AI

What you need to Change levels.

Many times, we think for us to change levels, everything depends on God. We never think that many times the ball is in our Court.

So whether we will change levels or not it all depends on us majorly. Truly, we can not rule out God oo, but it still takes a lot of effort from you and l to change the level at which we find ourselves presently. The book of

1 Chro 11:6, told us something that King David did.

" And David said, whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and Captain. So Joab, the son of Zeruiah, went first up and was Chief.

As David challenged the Israelites' Army, God is also challenging His children today. Several People ran away from the challenge, but one Man went for it. That man was Joab, and he became Chief and Captain of the Army of Israel.

Listen, you can't be running from challenges and be saying you want to break through in your work, ministry, or profession. Until you face that challenge; it is then you can break through. The good thing is that God has given you all that you need to overcome and to prevail and succeed in the challenges (Opposition or battle) you are facing. "It's in you".

All that you need includes;

*God( who is already with you if you are already born again by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior.

*Believe strongly in yourself. Believe you can do it with the help of God, and his presence by your side will surely give you the desired breakthrough.

https://beeglain.net/4/8056963

*And a step of faith. This is what assisted Joab. It is what made him leave the camp of the rest to become the chief and Captain of the Armies of Israel, and that is all that you also need. Shalom

Erling Haaland just won't stop! Man City hitman breaks Man Utd legend Wayne Rooney's Premier League record as incredible start to new season continues

Manchester City star Erling Haaland continued his prolific start to the new season by breaking a Premier League record with a goal against Brentford.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Haaland scored twice for City in the first half of their game against Brentford to continue his blistering start to the new season. The Norwegian scored two goals in quick succession to give City a 2-1 lead going into half-time after they had conceded inside 22 seconds. The goals proved additionally poignant for Haaland after he dealt with the death of a close friend in midweek.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Haaland has scored all but two of City's Premier League goals this season as Pep Guardiola's side look to continue their perfect start to the new season. Rooney, meanwhile scored 27 times in the 2011-12 season when he set the previous record, which was his most prolific campaign of his career.

DID YOU KNOW?

This is Haaland's strongest start to any of his three seasons at City as he needed nine Premier League games to score his ninth goal last year. In his debut campaign, Haaland took just five games to get his ninth goal but he has achieved the feat at a faster rate this time around. The 24-year-old has now netted more Premier League goals than Eric Cantona and Luis Suarez, with his 71st strike coming in his 70th appearance.

WHAT NEXT FOR HAALAND AND MAN CITY?

City will be hoping Haaland can carry his Premier League form into their match against Inter in the Champions League next week. Guardiola's men will then face a potential early title clash with Arsenal next week, with the Gunners desperate to keep Haaland quiet despite a number of injuries to some key players.

Cristiano Ronaldo explains how to fix Man Utd in attack on Erik ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo details where Manchester United need to improve.

Ronaldo has outlined how United can improve.

Cristiano Ronaldo believes Manchester United need to rebuild 'everything' if they are to return to the top of the Premier League, while he has criticised the mentality of manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo, who enjoyed two spells at United varying in success, has broken down the issues at the club after they recorded their worst-ever Premier League finish during the 2023/24 campaign, dropping to eighth in the standings. His initial six-year stint with the Red Devils saw him win three Premier League titles, the Champions League, two League Cups and an FA Cup.

https://paiptobad.net/4/8056962

His most recent experience, however, came with less success, and his contract was mutually terminated midway through his second season after falling out with Ten Hag.

But the United legend believes he has the key to United's lack of success and has detailed how the club should rebuild in order to regain their place among Europe's best.

"Manchester [United], they need to rebuild everything, in my opinion," he told former teammate Rio Ferdinand in the latest episode of Rio Ferdinand Presents. "The coach, they say they cannot compete to win the league and Champions League. Manchester United coach, you cannot say that you’re not going to fight to win the league or Champions League.

You have to, to mentally say: 'Listen, maybe we don't have that potential, but I cannot say that. We're going to try.' You have to try. This club needs time to rebuild because it's still one of the best clubs in the world, but they need to change.

"They understand that. This is the only way. This is why they show, they start to change again, the structure of the club, the president, the infrastructures and everything. The owners of the club.

https://beeglain.net/4/8056963

"I believe that the future will be bright. I believe, but they don't depend only on the talents. It's more than that. It's all club, all, not only players, club, everything as a unit, united. They have to rebuild from the bottom. If not, they cannot compete. It will be impossible.

"They can do good things, yes, they can win Carabao, yeah, but I mean, Champions League or Europa League or Premier League, difficult, in my opinion. And I wish that I'm wrong, I wish, but will be difficult."

Ronaldo also detailed his relationship with Ten Hag, claiming that while he does not respect the Dutchman, he ultimately still has love for United.

"I don't have respect for him because he doesn't show respect for me," he continued. "I'm not happy the way it all happen, but in the same way, we cannot control some points of our life sometimes, but it's done, already done.

"But to be honest with you, what I wish for Manchester, it's what I wish for me. The best they can make, again the best team they can, and I love that club. I'm not that kind of guy that forgets the past."

Why we Increased Price of Petrol — President Tinubu

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has offered reasons why the government increased the price of petrol.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said Tinubu spoke in China at a meeting with Nigerians.

The meeting with the Nigerians who are resident in China was held on Friday in Beijing to round off the President’s official engagements in China.

Addressing members of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization in China (NIDO China) and the Nigerian community at the China World Hotel, the President said the increase in cost of petrol was to ensure the deployment of more resources to develop infrastructure that can be compared to what is obtainable in China

He said: “Nigeria is going through reforms, and we are taking very bold and unprecedented decisions.

“For example, you might have been hearing from home in the last few days about fuel prices

“But, can we help it?

“Can we develop good roads like you have here?

“You see electricity being constant in quantity and quality.

“You see water supply, constant and running, and you see their good schools.

“And we say we want to hand over a banner without stain to our children?

“What is the critical part to get us there if we cannot take hard decisions to pave the way for a country that is blessed and so talented?

“So many of you are so talented, speaking very fluent Mandarin.

“It is what you contribute and tell them at home that will reflect in the attitude of our people.

“The more you want everything free, it will become more expensive and long-delayed to achieve meaningful development.”

To the applause of the audience, President Tinubu stated that one key takeaway from his visit to China is the commitment to replicate China’s infrastructure back home.

He added: “We want our children to be in good schools, not tattered huts and dilapidated buildings.

“We must make our teaching innovative and allow businesses of all kinds and sizes to flourish.

Tinubu Given 48-Hour Ultimatum to Reverse Fuel Price Hike as Nigerians Face Severe Hardship September 8, 2024 FirstNews The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has given President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a 48-hour ultimatum to reverse the recent hike in the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol. In an open letter dated September 7, 2024, and signed by its deputy director, Kolawole Oluwadare, SERAP urged Tinubu to use his “leadership position and good offices” to direct the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to immediately roll back the price increase. SERAP stated, “The increase in petrol price constitutes a fundamental breach of constitutional guarantees and the country’s international human rights obligations.” The organisation further warned that failure to comply with the ultimatum would result in legal action. SERAP also called on the president to “direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, and appropriate anti-corruption agencies to probe the allegations of corruption and mismanagement in the NNPC.” Specifically, SERAP urged an investigation into the reported $300 million bailout funds received by the NNPCL in August 2024 and the $6 billion debt it owes to suppliers, despite its alleged failure to remit oil revenues to the treasury. The letter emphasized, “Suspected perpetrators of alleged corruption and mismanagement in the NNPC should face prosecution as appropriate, if there is sufficient admissible evidence, and any proceeds of corruption should be fully recovered.” SERAP expressed concern that the petrol price increase is exacerbating poverty and inequality in the country. The letter continued, “Rather than pursuing public policies to address the growing poverty and inequality in the country, your government seems to be punishing the poor.” It added that the price hike has “rendered already impoverished citizens incapable of satisfying their minimum needs for survival.” The open letter also addressed the persistent corruption in Nigeria’s oil sector, stating that “the increase is not inevitable, as it stems from the persistent failure of successive governments to address allegations of corruption and mismanagement in the oil sector and the impunity of suspected perpetrators.” Highlighting the broader impact of the price hike, SERAP said, “The increase is causing immense hardship to those less well-off. We are concerned that as the economic situation in Nigeria deteriorates, the increase in petrol price is pushing people further into poverty.” SERAP concluded by reminding the president of his legal obligations under the Nigerian Constitution and international anti-corruption treaties. It stated, “Investigating and prosecuting allegations of corruption and mismanagement in the oil sector would be entirely consistent with the Nigerian Constitution, and the country’s international anti-corruption obligations.” If no action is taken within 48 hours, SERAP warned it would consider legal avenues to compel the government to reverse the hike and address the issues surrounding corruption in the oil sector.

 SOME LESSONS ON FINANCES 💯

1. Must have EMERGENCY FUND - enough for 6 months of expenses/current lifestyle.

2. SAVE MONEY and MONEY WILL SAVE YOU. Don't save what is left after spending. Only spend what is left after saving.

3. Best to have ZERO DEBT, if you can't pay cash, you CAN'T AFFORD it, nothing beats PEACE OF MIND. Except if you are Borrowing to START or EXPAND a Business.

4. Avoid unnecessary spendings, forget sale price, everything is 100% off when you don't buy it. Don't waste your money on things that you don't need, even if they are cheap. EVERY MONEY in your POSSESSION COUNTS!

5. Learn to BUDGET - it is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went!

6. If we buy things that we don't need, we will have to SELL THINGS THAT WE NEED.

7. PRETENDING TO BE RICH can make us poor. Must learn to live BELOW MEANS. Don't go broke trying to look rich.

https://paiptobad.net/4/8056962

ACT YOUR WAGE.

8. MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING, but we cannot deny the fact that we NEED money for our FAMILY.

9. Always have a BACK-UP PLAN for life's uncertainties.

Start having your personal LIFE INSURANCE with INVESTMENT.

Dangote Refinery: This is what Otedola said about it.

 My Dear Brother Aliko,

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering support and belief in actualizing this monumental achievement under his administration. This day belongs to every Nigerian who has dared to dream of a better future. Congratulations to our great nation—today, we all stand a little taller.

Aliko, it feels like just yesterday, but it has been 25 long years since we first set our sights on transforming Nigeria’s energy landscape. I remember vividly when we set up the Blue Star Consortium to acquire stakes in the Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries—20% for me and 51% for you. We were ready to change the game, but fate had other plans. The government of the day, in an act I can only describe as utterly obnoxious, canceled our stakes and thwarted our vision. But, as always, you refused to be deterred.

You never gave up on the dream we shared. You carried the torch forward, igniting a spark that has today become a roaring flame. And now, 25 years later, here we stand on the precipice of history, with the first fuel shipment from the Dangote Refinery—a feat that is nothing short of miraculous.

While the Kaduna and Port Harcourt refineries have remained dormant, their promise unfulfilled despite billions of dollars spent on so-called turn-around maintenance, you have achieved what many said was impossible. You have beaten all the skeptics, silenced the naysayers, and proved wrong those who doubted your resolve, even those who never wanted this project to succeed.

You have not just built a refinery; you have liberated us from the chains of economic dependence that have held this nation back for far too long. The days of bowing to foreign powers for our fuel needs are over, thanks to your vision and determination. You have dealt a death blow to the so-called local cabals who have fattened themselves for years, feeding off our nation’s economic slavery. These cabals, who have grown rich by keeping Nigeria in a perpetual state of dependence, must now face the reality that their era of easy gains is coming to an end.

I am reminded of the time you revolutionized the cement industry in Nigeria. Ships that once brought in cement turned into rusting relics, scraps of a bygone era. Now, with your refinery in full swing, I foresee a similar fate for fuel imports. The depot owners should take heed—it’s time to dismantle those depots and sell them as scraps while the market is still high. The world has changed, and those who do not adapt will be left behind.

When I ventured into the depot business with Zenon, it was in response to the inefficiencies of the NNPC. Zenon pioneered the diesel business in Nigeria and quickly became the largest in the country, filling the gaps left by our inefficient system. But today, your refinery stands as a beacon of what is possible when one has the audacity to dream and the tenacity to see it through.

Aliko, you have my deepest admiration and respect. Congratulations to you and the entire board, management and staff of Dangote Refinery on this monumental achievement. This is not just a victory for you but for every Nigerian who dares to dream. May this be just the beginning of even greater things to come.

With profound respect and warmest regards,

F. Ote$

DRUG ABUSE: It's Causes and Preventions.

Drug abuse, the compulsive and excessive use of drugs, particularly impacts a person’s brain. It causes brain changes that make it difficult for a person to practice self-control and interfere with their power to defy the urge to take drugs. The changes in the functioning of the brain are inexorable and this is the reason why it often relapses. Even those who recover stand a high risk of returning to drugs even after years of recovery. However, this does not mean that the treatment is not effective enough. One must ensure that the treatment is not stopped. It is an ongoing process though the doctors alter the medication from time to time on the basis of the response received from the patients.

What causes Drug Addiction?

Different people fall prey to this self-damaging habit due to different reasons. Some of the key reasons for drug addiction are shared below:

Feeling of Emptiness

Feeling of emptiness can be the worst feeling and is often difficult to handle. To get rid of these feelings, many people take the road to drugs. They feel that drugs will help them fill the void.

Work Pressure

Many students begin taking drugs to overcome the study related stress. Similarly, there is so much pressure in the corporate offices these days that people are unable to cope up with it. They often turn towards drugs to deal with the stress and anxiety caused at work.

Family/ Relationship problems

Many people also tend to begin taking drugs to overcome stress caused due to family issues or relationship problems and eventually become addicted to the same.

Experimentation

Teenagers often try drugs just for experimenting and get addicted to them before they even realise. Teenagers are more prone to get addicted to them.

Genetic

Drug addiction can even be genetic. It is often seen that this problem runs in the families. So, there is a high risk of children getting addicted if their parents abuse drugs.

Drugs Available on Prescription

Most drugs prescribed by the doctors are as addictive as the street drugs. Many people mistake them as safe and repeated use of these leads to addiction.

Factors Causing Drug Abuse

The factors causing drug abuse have mainly been classified in three categories. Here is a look at each of these in detail:

Environmental Factors

A person’s environment includes various factors such as his social status, family, friends, professional life, etc. Problems in the family, bad company, competition at work and lack of proper guidance and support from parents or teachers can often lead to drug abuse.

Biological Factors

Drug abuse can also be a genetic problem. A child stands a high chance of falling prey to drug abuse if either of his parents has been under the influence of the same. Certain mental disorders can also cause a person to turn towards drugs.

Age Factor

Though drug addiction can develop at any age however those who begin taking drugs at an early age have a high chance of getting addicted. This is because those areas in their brain that are responsible for self-control, judgement and decision making are still in their development stage. This is the reason why teenagers are more prone to drug abuse.

Measures to Overcome Drug Addiction

Overcoming drug addiction can be difficult. However, it is not impossible. With the help of medication, expert guidance and support from family and friends, one can overcome this problem. Discussed below are some measures to help you overcome drug abuse.

Consult Doctor

It takes much more than a strong will power when it comes to getting rid of drug addiction. If you have taken the plunge to get out of the dark world of drugs then it is suggested to consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Exercise

Reducing drug dosage may result in increased level of stress. You can overcome this to a large extent by indulging in physical activities such as jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing and yoga among others.

Eat Healthy

Your physical health especially brain deteriorates because of regular intake of drugs. It is thus advised to have food that contains all the essential nutrients.

Talk to Close Ones

Instead of keeping your feelings to yourself, it is suggested to vent them out. Talk to your family and friends about your issues. This is a good way to de-stress rather than relying on drugs.

Medication for Drug Abuse

Different types of medications are given to people suffering from different stages of drug abuse. Here is a look at these:

Staying in Treatment

The patient’s brain needs to be trained to adapt to the absence of drugs. This treatment helps the patients control their craving for drugs.

Withdrawal Treatment

People who stop using drugs can experience symptoms such as stress, anxiety, mood swings, etc. They are prescribed medications to overcome these symptoms.

Prevent Relapse

There are many factors that can trigger a relapse. Medications are being developed to control these triggers.

Conclusion

Drug Abuse is a common problem these days. Though hard to resist, the usage of drugs can be controlled with proper medication and guidance.

Drug abuse, mainly caused in an attempt to overcome emotional upheaval in one’s life, can be self damaging. It is suggested to stick to a healthy lifestyle and steer clear of unhealthy practices such as dependence on drugs or alcohol to stay fit and active.

FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILATION

Forgiveness and reconciliation are fundamental concepts that play a crucial role in maintaining healthy relationships, fostering personal growth, and promoting social harmony. Forgiveness is the process of letting go of negative emotions and feelings associated with a past hurt or offense, while reconciliation involves rebuilding and restoring relationships after a conflict or wrongdoing.

Forgiveness is not always easy, as it requires individuals to confront their emotions, acknowledge their vulnerability, and choose to release the hold that the past has on them. However, holding onto resentment and anger can lead to emotional turmoil, affecting both mental and physical well-being. Forgiveness, on the other hand, brings peace, freedom, and a sense of closure.

Reconciliation, while closely tied to forgiveness, is a distinct process. It involves a willingness to engage with the person who has caused harm, to listen to their perspective, and to work towards a mutual understanding. Reconciliation requires effort and commitment from all parties involved, but it can lead to deeper, more meaningful relationships and a greater sense of community.

In the context of faith, forgiveness and reconciliation are often seen as essential aspects of spiritual growth and development. Many religious traditions emphasize the importance of forgiving others and seeking forgiveness for one's own wrongdoing.

Here are some pros and cons of forgiveness and reconciliation:

Pros of Forgiveness:

1. Emotional liberation: Forgiveness releases the hold of negative emotions.

2. Peace and closure: Forgiveness brings peace and a sense of closure.

3. Improved mental health: Forgiveness reduces stress, anxiety, and depression.

4. Better relationships: Forgiveness can improve relationships and communication.

5. Personal growth: Forgiveness promotes self-reflection, empathy, and understanding.

Pros of Reconciliation:

1. Restored relationships: Reconciliation rebuilds and strengthens relationships.

2. Healing and closure: Reconciliation brings healing and closure for all parties.

3. Improved communication: Reconciliation promotes open and honest communication.

4. Trust rebuilding: Reconciliation helps rebuild trust and understanding.

5. Community building: Reconciliation fosters community and social cohesion

Here are some reasons why we should endeavor to forgive and reconcile:

Forgiveness:

1. Freedom from resentment: Forgiveness releases us from the burden of resentment.

2. Emotional healing: Forgiveness promotes emotional healing and well-being.

3. Improved relationships: Forgiveness can improve relationships and communication.

4. Personal growth: Forgiveness fosters empathy, understanding, and self-reflection.

5. Spiritual growth: Forgiveness is a fundamental aspect of spiritual growth and development.

Reconciliation:

1. Restored relationships: Reconciliation rebuilds and strengthens relationships.

2. Healing and closure: Reconciliation brings healing and closure for all parties.

3. Trust rebuilding: Reconciliation helps rebuild trust and understanding.

4. Community building: Reconciliation fosters community and social cohesion.

5. Accountability: Reconciliation promotes accountability and personal responsibility.

Shared benefits:

1. Peace and harmony: Forgiveness and reconciliation promote peace and harmony.

2. Release from negativity: Forgiveness and reconciliation release us from negativity.

3. New beginnings: Forgiveness and reconciliation offer opportunities for new beginnings.

4. Personal transformation: Forgiveness and reconciliation can lead to personal transformation.

5. God's grace: Forgiveness and reconciliation reflect God's grace and love.

Remember, forgiveness and reconciliation are processes that take time, effort, and commitment. However, the benefits can be transformative, leading to personal growth, improved relationships, and a more harmonious community.

In conclusion, forgiveness and reconciliation are powerful tools for healing, growth, and transformation. By choosing to forgive and work towards reconciliation, individuals can break free from the shackles of resentment and anger, and cultivate more positive, meaningful relationships. As we strive to build stronger, more compassionate communities, the practices of forgiveness and reconciliation are essential.

MODESTY: Embracing this Godly Virtue in our Dressing.

Modesty, sometimes known as demureness, is a mode of dress and deportment which intends to avoid the encouraging of sexual attraction in others. The word modesty comes from the Latin word modestus which means 'keeping within measure'.

https://jithethos.net/4/8057002

In this use, revealing certain body parts is considered inappropriate, thus immodest. In conservative Middle Eastern societies, modesty may involve women completely covering their bodies with a burqa and not talking to men who are not immediate family members. In Christian Anabaptist and similar sects, it may involve women wearing only ankle-length skirts, blouses up to the collar, and often a small head covering or shawl. Among both and others, a one-piece swimsuit may be considered modest while wearing a bikini is not. In most countries, exposure of the body in breach of community standards of modesty, as well as public nudity, is considered indecent exposure and is usually punished by law.

Nudity may be acceptable in public single-sex changing rooms at swimming baths, for example, or for mass medical examinations of military personnel. A person who would never disrobe in the presence of the opposite sex in a social context might unquestioningly do so for a medical examination, while others might allow such examination but only by a person of the same sex.

Overall, standards of modesty vary widely around the world because of sociocultural and contextual differences and particular situations

The rate at which IMMORAL DRESSING grows in our society is alarming and need to be addressed urgently, as this is against the principles of the society. Young people must know that indecent dressing do not improve one’s beauty; rather, it dents ones image and it’s also a show of rebellion but these has become a way of dressing that is common among the people in our society especially the female one’s.

“Dress the way you want to be address” is a popular maxim far and wide, but the question is, is the wisdom the maxim teaches ever adhered to?

https://beeglain.net/4/8056963

My fellow steemians the fact is the way one dresses determines the way he or she will be addressed. If a person dresses properly and decently, he or she will definitely attract respect and the person’s dignity will be protected, but when one is indecently dressed, he or she will attract disrespect, harassment and can even be rape which has been the experience of most indecent dressers.

A dress is said to be indecent if it is morally and sexually offensive. It entails the exposure of one’s body to the public. Many youth are exposed to mode of dressing which they observe on television or social media where they see celebrities dress indecently and they try to emulate them. Most celebrities, while on stage, wear all sorts of clothes like pants, miniskirts, bumper shorts, tight trousers and some even wear their trousers on their waist, a style now referred to as sagging. The youth tend to dress this way in order to be like the celebrities they see on television, thereby ignoring their pride with respect to the way one should dress in order to be addressed with respect and value, all in the name of fashion

CAUSES:

*Poor parental guidance

*Influence from peer groups

*Misuse of the Internet

*Not keeping to cultural values

*Low self esteem

"Demonic oppression

https://paiptobad.net/4/8056962

EFFECTS:

Those who engage in indecent dressing either suffer or engage in the following activities:

*Prostitution (females)

*Robbery

*Lying

*Yahoo Yahoo

*Rape and sexual harassment in the case of the female

And worst of all some end up being used

CONTROL'S:

*Based on some research parent and their parenting role influences their children indecent dressing, so Parent should please dress decently and act as a role model to their children.

*The mass media also should do more to promote decent dressing in the society. Since internet has taken over and youths are on the internet everyday. Please the media should promote decent dressings instead of publicicy indecent dresses.

*Religious institutions should always promote the culture of decent dressing.

https://ookrejuhocm.net/4/8056954

 CONCLUSION;

In as much as we are all entitled to our own opinion, we should try to dress moderately, we should dress to our standard and not drag our families name to the mud.

SHORT HISTORY ABOUT THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD

In July 1909, a son was born into the Akindayomi family of Ondo State of Nigeria. Even though this child grew up surrounded by idol worshippers, he knew there existed a greater power and yearned to know,

“The God who created the earth and everyone on it”. This pursuit for God led him to the Church Missionary Society where he was baptized in 1927. Still spiritually unfulfilled, he joined the Cherubim and Seraphim church in 1931.

Whilst there, he began to hear a voice within him saying, “You will be my servant.” Since this was not his intention, he decided to ignore the voice. This went on for seven years during which all the business ventures that he tried resulted into failure. In debt and without peace of mind, he found himself totally dependent on the grace of God. Here marked the beginning of a definite relationship with God.Totally broken, he yielded saying, “Lord, I will go wherever you want me to go.” He asked for signs to confirm that this was indeed God’s call. The confirmation came through the Bible passages of Jeremiah 1:4-10, Isaiah 41:10-13 and Romans 8:29-31. The Lord assured him that He would provide for all his needs, as he would not receive any salary from that point on. This proved to be a comforting reminder during the trials in the months ahead. He became married in 1941. He continued to worship with the Cherubim and Seraphim. In 1947, he started to become concerned that the church was departing from the true Word of God in some of its practices. By 1952, he felt totally persuaded to leave the church. He started at Willoughby Street, Ebute-Metta, Lagos a housefellowship called, the Glory of God Fellowship. Initially there were nine members but before long the fellowship rapidly grew as the news of the miracles that occurred in their midst spread.

Akindayomi also had a vision of words that appeared to be written on a blackboard. The words were “The Redeemed Christian Church of God.” Amazingly, Pa Akindayomi who could not read or write was supernaturally able to write these words down. In this visitation, God also said to him that this church would go to the ends of the earth and that when the Lord Jesus Christ appeared in glory, He would meet the church. The Lord then established a covenant with Pa Akindayomi, synonymous to the Abrahamic covenant in the Bible. He said that He the Lord would meet all the needs of the church in an awesome way if only members would serve Him faithfully and be obedient to His Word. It is upon this covenant that the Redeemed Christian Church of God was built.

Thus, the Redeemed Christian Church of God was born in 1952, destined by the Lord Himself to take the world for Him. The church continued to meet at 9 Willoughby Street until they were able to acquire some land thereby witnessing a relocation to the present site of the Headquarters of the church at 1-5 Redemption Way, Ebute-Metta, Lagos (formerly 1a, Cemetery Street).

Sometime in the early 70s, God had spoken to Pa Akindayomi about his successor. The Lord told him that this man who was not a member of the church then, would be a young educated man. Thus when a young university lecturer joined the church in 1973, Papa was able to recognize him in the Spirit as the one that the Lord had spoken about in the past. This man, Enoch Adejare Adeboye who was then a lecturer of Mathematics at the University of Lagos soon became involved in the church. He became one of the interpreters translating Pa Akindayomi’s sermons from Yoruba to English. He was ordained a pastor of the church in 1975.

Papa was preparing to meet his Creator. He sent for Pastor Adeboye and spent several hours sharing with him details of the covenant and the plans of the Lord for the church. Even though a year before this, the Lord had revealed to Pastor Adeboye that he would be Papa’s successor, it was still too difficult for him to fully contemplate such an awesome responsibility.

Pa Josiah Akindayomi was 71 years old when he died. Amidst controversy, Pastor Adeboye’s appointment was formalized by the reading of Pa Akindayomi’s sealed pronouncement after his burial.

Since 1981, an open explosion began with the number of parishes growing in leaps and bounds. At the last count, there are at least about 2000 parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria. On the International scene, the church is present in other African nations including C’ote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Gambia, Cameroon, and South Africa. In Europe the church is spread in England, Germany, and France. In the United States there are parishes in Dallas, Tallahassee, Houston, New York, Washington, and Chicago and also in the Caribbean states of Haiti and Jamaica.

Today, God is still doing marvelous deeds through the Redeemed Christian Church of God, worldwide. One of the well-known programs of the church is the Holy Ghost Service, an all night miracle service that holds on the first Friday of every month at the Redemption Camp at Km. 46, Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The average headcount of those who attend the Service is about 500,000. The Holy Ghost Service now holds in different parts of the world which includes the United Kingdom, India, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Dubai, Ghana, Philippines and many more

ARCHRAF HAKIMI theory; Great lesson to learn for every Men.

"I was marrîed to my ex-wîfe, Hiba Abouk from 2020 to 2023 but I realized that she was aftęr my money just 2 months into our marrîage and then transferred everything to my Mother and was patiently waiting for her to file a dîvorce. I can never trũst a womãn except my mother again. My mother and I danced together after my dîvorce." ARCHRAF HAKIMI

"I registered all my assets to my mother's name the moment I started suspectîng my wîfe, Hiba Abouk was about a year into our marriage before our dîvorce and we had a mînor fîght one morning and she told me that I should know that she can file for a dîvorce anytime and if she does, we're gonna share my wealth equally. Upon hearing this, I realized that I was living with a gõld-dîgger. Then I started thinking of what to do and all of a sudden, the idea of registering my assets in a trust to my Mother's name just came into my head.

So I went to my Mother and explained everything to her and she told me: "Son, I carried you in my womb for 9-months and I can never let anythîng happen to you. We worked so hãrd to get you where you are today and no womãn is gonna come out of nowhere and brîng you down." Then we immediately transferred everything I owned to her so much so that even my clothes,  and the jersey I use to play football belonged to her.

So when my wîfe filed for a dîvorce and demanded for half of my węalth, I was unbothered. She even told me that I was gonna go brôke after our dîvorce but I just laughed in my heart. And as we always say, Failũre To Plan Is Planning To Faîl, she faîled to plan and I succeeded to plan. She was shockęd to realize that I had nothing and my mother has been the one taking care of us. She wępt in cõurt not because we were divorcîng but because she lęft empty handed like she came. Dear men, friends will bętray you, wîves will bętray you but a mother's love is supreme." ARCHRAF HAKIMI

12 Passive Income Ideas for Building Wealth in Your Sleep

By Steve Burns

12 Passive Income Ideas for Building Wealth in Your Sleep

In today’s fast-paced world, making money while you sleep is more appealing than ever. Passive income streams can help you build wealth, achieve financial freedom, and provide a cushion for your future.

This article explores 12 proven passive income ideas that can help you generate wealth even when you’re not actively working.

1. Dividend Stocks

Investing in dividend stocks is a time-tested method for generating passive income. When you purchase shares of dividend-paying companies, you receive regular payouts based on the company’s profits. Look for established companies with a history of consistent dividend payments.

To get started, research companies with solid financials and a track record of increasing dividends over time. Diversify your portfolio across different sectors to minimize risk. While the initial investment can be significant, dividend stocks offer income and long-term capital appreciation potential.

For example, investing $10,000 in a stock with a 4% dividend yield could earn $400 annually in passive income. Your income can also grow as your investment grows and companies increase dividends.

2. Selling Covered Calls

Selling covered calls is an options strategy to generate additional income from your stocks. This method involves selling call options on stocks in your portfolio, allowing you to collect premiums while potentially selling your shares at a predetermined price.

To implement this strategy:

Choose stocks you’re comfortable holding long-term.

Select an expiration date, typically 30-45 days out.

Pick a strike price above the current stock price.

Sell one call option contract for every 100 shares of stock you own.

Collect the premium, which is yours to keep regardless of what happens.

Be aware that this strategy caps your upside potential on the stock. However, it can effectively generate income, especially in flat or slightly bullish markets.

3. Selling Cash-Secured Puts

Selling cash-secured puts is another options strategy that can generate income while potentially acquiring stocks at a desired price. This method involves trading options on stocks you’d like to own with enough cash in your account to purchase the shares if assigned.

To use this strategy:

Identify stocks you’d like to own and determine your desired entry price.

Ensure you have enough cash to purchase 100 shares at the strike price for each contract.

Select an expiration date and strike price.

Sell the put option and collect the premium.

This strategy works well in flat or slightly bullish markets and can effectively lower your cost basis if you’re assigned the shares. However, be prepared to purchase the shares if the stock price falls below the strike price by expiration.

4. Real Estate Crowdfunding

Real estate crowdfunding platforms allow you to invest in properties without the hassles of being a landlord. These platforms pool money from multiple investors to fund real estate projects, providing returns through rental income and property appreciation.

Popular platforms include Fundrise, RealtyMogul, and CrowdStreet. Many offer low minimum investments, making real estate investing more accessible. Returns can range from 8-12% annually, depending on the project and platform.

When choosing a crowdfunding opportunity, consider factors like the platform’s track record, the specific properties or projects, and your investment timeline. Be aware that these investments can be illiquid and carry risks, so diversify your investments and only invest money you won’t need in the short term.

5. Create and Sell Online Courses

If you have expertise in a particular subject, creating and selling online courses can generate passive income long after the initial effort. Platforms like Udemy and Teachable make it easy to create and market courses. In

To get started:

Choose a topic you’re knowledgeable about, and that has market demand.

Plan your course content and structure.

Create engaging video lessons and supplementary materials.

Set up your course on a platform or your website.

Market your course through social media, email marketing, and other channels.

While course creation requires upfront work, once published, you can earn money each time someone purchases your course. Successful course creators can earn thousands of dollars monthly in passive income with the right course, advertising, and platform.

6. Write and Sell E-books

Writing and self-publishing e-books on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing or other platforms can provide ongoing passive income. Choose topics you’re knowledgeable about or passionate about that have a target audience.

To create a successful e-book:

Research your topic and outline your book.

Write compelling content that provides value to your readers.

Edit and proofread thoroughly.

Design an attractive cover.

Format your e-book for different platforms.

Set a competitive price and publish.

While e-books require significant initial effort, they can continue selling for years with minimal additional work. To maximize sales, market your e-book through social media, your website, Amazon advertising, or email lists.

7. Rental Properties

Investing in rental properties can provide a steady stream of passive income through monthly rent payments. While being a landlord involves some ongoing responsibilities, you can hire a property management company to handle day-to-day operations, making it more passive.

To succeed with rental properties:

Research local real estate markets to find promising areas.

Calculate potential returns, considering rental income, expenses, and appreciation factors.

Secure financing or save for a down payment.

Purchase properties that will attract reliable tenants.

Consider hiring a property management company to handle tenant screening, maintenance, and rent collection.

Real estate also offers the potential for long-term appreciation, making it a dual source of wealth building.

8. High-Yield Savings Accounts or CDs

While not as lucrative as some other options, high-yield savings accounts and Certificates of Deposit (CDs) offer a safe, genuinely passive way to earn interest on your money. Look for online banks offering competitive rates, often higher than traditional brick-and-mortar banks.

High-yield savings accounts offer flexibility, allowing you to withdraw funds when needed. CDs typically offer higher rates but require you to lock in your money for a set term. Consider using a CD ladder strategy to balance higher rates with liquidity.

This option is best for those with a low-risk tolerance or as part of a diversified passive income strategy.

9. Create a Mobile App

If you have programming skills or can hire a developer, creating a mobile app can generate passive income through downloads, in-app purchases, or advertising revenue. While app development requires a significant upfront investment of time or money, a successful app can provide ongoing income with minimal maintenance.

To create a profitable app:

Identify a need in the market that your app can fill.

Design an intuitive, user-friendly interface.

Develop the app or hire a skilled developer.

Test thoroughly before launch.

Market your app through various channels.

Continuously update and improve based on user feedback.

Successful apps can generate thousands of dollars monthly, but be prepared for a competitive market.

10. License Your Photos or Music

You can license your work through stock photo sites or music licensing platforms if you’re a photographer or musician. Each time someone uses your photo or music, you earn royalties. This method allows you to monetize your creative work repeatedly.

6 Passive Income Ideas How to Make $500 a Day

For photographers, platforms like Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, and Getty Images offer opportunities to sell your photos. Musicians can use platforms like Music Bed or Epidemic Sound to license their music in videos, commercials, and other media.

To maximize earnings:

Create high-quality, in-demand content.

Tag your work effectively to improve discoverability.

Upload new content regularly.

Monitor trends and create content that meets current demand.

While earnings vary widely, successful creators can earn substantial passive income through licensing.

11. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing involves promoting other companies’ products or services and earning a commission on sales. Creating content with affiliate links on your blog, YouTube channel, or social media can generate passive income if your content remains relevant and visible.

To succeed in affiliate marketing:

Choose a niche you’re passionate about.

Build a platform (blog, YouTube channel, etc.) and grow your audience.

Select products or services that align with your audience’s interests.

Create valuable content that naturally incorporates affiliate products.

Disclose your affiliate relationships to maintain trust with your audience.

Track your results and optimize your strategies.

While building a significant audience takes time, successful affiliate marketers can earn thousands of dollars monthly in passive income.

12. Rent Out Assets

If you have unused assets like a spare room, parking space, or equipment, you can rent them out for passive income. Platforms like Airbnb (for rooms), JustPark (for parking spaces), or Fat Llama (for equipment) make it easy to connect with potential renters.

To maximize earnings:

Identify assets you can rent out without significant inconvenience.

Research local rates to price your rentals competitively.

Take high-quality photos and write compelling descriptions.

Provide excellent service to get positive reviews and repeat customers.

Consider any additional costs, such as cleaning or maintenance.

This method allows you to monetize assets you own with minimal ongoing effort, turning unused items into passive income sources.

Conclusion

These 12 passive income ideas offer diverse opportunities to build wealth while you sleep. From traditional investments like dividend stocks and rental properties to more modern approaches like creating online courses and mobile apps, there’s a strategy to suit various skills, interests, and risk tolerances.

While these ideas can generate passive income, most require some initial investment of time, money, or both. It’s crucial to research thoroughly and consider your circumstances before pursuing any passive income strategy.

INSIGHTS INTO FAITH 2

Four Kinds of Faith

But WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: for he that cometh to God MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. – Hebrews 11:6

As born again Christians, God has given each and every one of us “the” measure of faith (Romans 12:3) but it’s not enough for everything; and it’s our responsibility to grow it in order to be able to stand against everything the devil tries to throw at us (Ephesians 6:13-18). God never told us to fight the devil but to resist him (James 4:7) with our faith (1 Timothy 6:12).

I think it’s imperative to see from God’s Word the level of faith that we’re operating on any situation and what’s the cure if it’s not enough. So locate yourself from the categories below and get ready to make a change if your faith needs to be strengthened. Remember, you can cry and beg God all you want; it will not change anything without faith. Faith doesn’t cry or beg; faith takes control of every situation knowing that only God’s Word matters.

The Bible records four kinds of faith: “little faith, great faith, weak faith and strong faith.”

Little Faith
Characteristics:

─ Lack of understanding of God’s Word

Matthew 16:8 – “Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?”

─ Worries

Matthew 6:30 – “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”

─ Fears

Matthew 8:25-26 – “And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

─ Doubt

Matthew 14:31 – “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

Cure:

Get more knowledge of God’s Word by hearing, listening or reading more of teachings of God’s Word.

Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”

Weak Faith
Characteristics:

─ Consider circumstances, situations and feelings (sensory perceptions)

Romans 4:19 – “And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb”

Cure:

Exercise your faith. Put it to work.

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” (James 1:22)

“17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:17-20)

For example, if the Word says, “By His stripes, you were healed…” (1 Peter 2:24); then take it as the final and only truth irrespective of how you feel. Keep confessing your health; refuse to let the pain you feel robs you what the Word of God says about you. It says, “You WERE healed”; not “are” or “will be”. When were you healed? When Jesus took your place of condemnation (sickness, poverty…) on the cross! What you may feel is just fact, but not the truth. So refuse to let facts dictate how you live your life because you were born of the truth which is God’s Word (John 17:17; 1 Peter 1:23).

Your life is hid with Christ in God; He is your life (Colossians 3:3-4). Keep confessing this truth without fear, unbelief or any doubt and everything else will just have to bow at your word. Declare, “In Christ, I live, I move and I have my being” (Acts 17:28); “Christ in me the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27); “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20)…

Remember, there’s no failure, sickness or poverty in Christ and you are in Him.

Great Faith
Characteristics:

─ Having understanding

Matthew 8:9-10, “speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

─ Refuse to give up

Matthew 15:28, “Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.”

Strong Faith
Characteristics:

─ Giving glory to God regardless of the situation and circumstances

Romans 4:20 – “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God”

─ Being fully persuaded, no assumption or any doubt

Romans 4:21 – “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

Now you know what to do if your faith has been weak or little. Know more of God’s Word and put it to work. Faith never fails! Never give up, never give in!

What are the 4 elements of faith?

*Knowledge of God (John 3:16-18)
*The Requirements of God (Hebrews 11:6)
*The Word acted upon revealing our faith (James 2:14-17)
*The Word prayed back to God brings about His purpose (Isaiah 55:11)

Why is faith important?

Faith gives you strength: the inner resolve to withstand turmoil. The writer of Psalm 138 says of God, "In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” When we are right with God, we never go into turmoil alone. We have the Creator of the Universe

It provides 7 key points about faith:
1) It is impossible to please God without faith,
2) Jesus notices people's levels of faith, 3) Faith moves God to act,
4) Faith strengthens people during trials,
5) Faith fuels actions,
6) Others can be encouraged by strong faith, 7) Faith is the foundation of salvation.

How do I develop my faith?
If you want to grow in your faith, these will definitely be part of your life.
*Bible Reading. One of the first disciplines a Christian should prioritize is reading God's Word. ...
*Bible Study. Bible study is a very different discipline than devotional reading. ...
*Bible Memorization. ...
*Prayer. ...
*Generosity. ...
*Fellowship. ...
*Fasting.

God bless you as you understand and improve your faith in him.

Aanu (Mercy) story behind the song.

Pst Kenny Olojede
Aanu(Mercy)
This song (Aanu) was originally written by me in 2021 and recorded, but a part of it was released on social media through a short video in January, 2022 and people started asking for the full audio and video online. Personally, I didn't want to release it anymore because I felt it's a prayer song... , but I came to realize that every song has its own audience and God has a purpose for any given inspiration. I then decided to go back to work more on it in the studio very early this year, but I still didn't know what has kept me back from uploading it.
One thing I know is that God's time is the best and the time is NOW according to Psalm 102 vs13. This is the set time for Aanu (Mercy) Remixed to be released and I know that it will work for you as you engage in prayer through the song that the person who will show you mercy should think about you in Jesus name. The full audio will be released this week.  It's worth waiting for Sir and Ma because it will surely bless your life. Thank you as you wait for it.

INSIGHTS INTO FAITH

Faith is confidence or trust in a person, thing, or concept. In the context of religion, faith is "belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion".

Faith is also an inner attitude, conviction, or trust relating human beings to a supreme God or ultimate salvation. In religious traditions stressing divine grace, it is the inner certainty or attitude of love granted by God. Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen …

       Before i move further I would like to differentiate between belief and faith. Most people say this that when we believe we have faith but it doesn't work that way. For example;

Our beliefs are things we take to be true based on our logic and experiences. If we learn new information, our beliefs can change. For example, if we believe that it will rain on a given day, but the day comes and the skies are clear, then we will probably change our belief that it will rain.

Faith is a different thing entirely. “It’s commonplace to treat belief and faith as synonyms . . . but there are important differences,”. Faith involves reliance and trust, and it endures in the face of doubts, whereas belief is simply something we take to be true. “I can have faith in things or people without a corresponding belief, and I can believe things that I don’t have faith in.

This doesn’t mean that faith and belief are mutually exclusive or irreconcilable; faith is often accompanied by belief. “For instance, one who has faith in God may also hold the belief that God exists. But one can have faith without the corresponding. You can believe in something without having faith, but you cannot have faith without belief.

What are the three types of faith in the epistles?

What’s their impact on a believer’s spiritual journey?

Really, to grow into all of God’s plans, it is important to take note of these three levels of faith.
